13 Decent Remote Jobs (That Are Kind of Boring but Actually Pay)

13 Decent Remote Jobs (That Are Kind of Boring but Actually Pay)

Intro: No Courses, No Fake Hustles – Just Real Remote Jobs

Look, I'm so tired of all the make money online BS. They're just trying to sell you a drop shipping course and run away, but you don't even need to start drop shipping or do some weird side hustle. So, you don't need to become an entrepreneur because I've got 13 decent remote jobs that you can do during the day or during the night that are kind of boring, but they pay, which I think is good enough. Some pay a little, others pay a little bit more, and none of them require a degree or any experience. Now,

I'm going to be ruthfully honest because I think there's a lack of it. So, if you're sensitive and you can't take the truth, leave this video now. Goodbye. And of course, nothing is guaranteed. I can't promise you any results. I'm just going to show you these things and explain what they are. So, let's get right into it.

1. Testbirds – Get Paid to Complain

First up on the list is test birds. Now, I'm the biggest hater of online surveys out there. They're super annoying. You spend 30 minutes filling in freaking information and then

you open your wallet and see like 30 cents. Wow. Thank you. But I like test birds and it's for one reason. and one reason only. It's something anybody can do anywhere and they pay €20, which is about $23 per test. That is from their own website. I'm not making this stuff up like everybody else out there. Just do one or two per day and the math is pretty simple. You would in theory earn 600 to,200 extra per month. I'm serious. Assuming there were ones available for you. It is also 100% flexible with their

own website claiming test during the daytime or at night. And you don't need a laptop. You can use your phone or your tablet. But how does this actually work? And is it legit? Well, you sign up and you get paid for telling companies what they're doing wrong. Giving feedback. Being a Karen. Basically paid to complain. Sounds like the perfect job for me. And they work with T-Mobile, Deutschean, BMW, and plenty of other companies. And that's how they pay you so well instead of these shitty online

surveys that barely pay enough for the electricity that they consume. Now, Test Birds has been around since 2011 and they are still going strong. But is it worth it? To be honest, no. If you're a billionaire like Bill Gates, this is not worth your time. However, for many of us, a,000 bucks a month can cover a lot of expenses. The only thing is you do need to qualify for these surveys, and I can't promise you anything. It depends on your profile. So, I'll give it a 6 out of 10.

13 Decent Remote Jobs (That Are Kind of Boring but Actually Pay)

2. Marriott – Big Boring Company, Real Remote Jobs

Next up is Marriott. Finding

remote job is like walking through a bustling market. Everybody's yelling about get rich quick, but you already know most of it is total BS. Here's the truth. Big, boring companies are secretly hiring remote workers, but most people miss them because they're looking in the wrong places. Marriott, if you don't know, is one of the largest hotel chains in the entire world with over 10,000 open jobs on its website. It's insane how big Marriott is and how many employees they have. Literally 10,000

open jobs. It's like a job market in itself. Now, a few of these are actually remote and we're talking customer support, data entry, and more. But the big question is, what about the salaries? If you're starting with no experience, you can expect to earn about $15 to $20 an hour. That is based on the average according to real sources from their employees. Nothing fancy, but 100% legit, which is refreshing to say the least. these days. But do people actually like working at Marriott?

That's a good question, right? And most people are pretty happy. They have a fourstar rating by their employees. But to be honest, in this job market, who cares? We're at the point where getting a remote job, even if it's terrible, is kind of a win. So yeah, it's sad, but it's true. I'll give it an 8 out of 10.

3. DTO / Dito – Transcription for $10–$20/hr

Next up is DTO or DTO DTO, whatever. It's a very easy remote job anybody can do and you don't need any skills at all and it pays $10 to $20 an hour according

to their own website. So this is a transcription job. You basically listen to audio and you type what you hear in the audio. Just you and your keyboard type type and get paid. Simple as that. But it sounds too good to be true. I admit. And making money by typing is usually a scam. Transcription jobs tend to pay so badly that you're stuck for hours on hours dri paying for like a freaking cheeseburger. But what about DTO? Well, DTO pays about $1 per audio minute. So basically, if you listen and

transcribe one minute of audio, you get paid $1. That sounds pretty bad, right? The question then becomes, how much can I make per hour? Because that's the only thing that I care about. So I turn to my buddy Shat GBT to help find the truth about Dito's salaries. Now, according to my number one source, Chat GPT, yeah, if you're a slow typist, you're looking at about 10 an hour. If you're in between, you're kind of like a medium typist, you're at 12.5. And if you're a very

fast typist, like you might be looking at 15 an hour. Nothing crazy, but here's a bonus. DTO also has some special projects with much higher salaries that you can qualify for. So, keep that in mind as well. >> Wow, I love it. It's great. You're not going to get rich by doing this, but it's easy and you can get started right away. So, I'll give it a 6.5 out of 10. Typing all day is really terrible. It's boring, but at least it pays.

4. Lingoar – Teach Kids English Online

All right. Next up is Lingoar. It's 100% remote,

100% flexible, and 100% scam. No, I'm kidding. The company is based in Singapore and connects English speakers with children learning English from all around the world. You can do it in your spare time, and you can start working immediately. No experience is required, which pretty unique. You start at level one where the salary is very low, let's be honest. But over time, your salary increases every level. So, you make more and more money per class that you host. To get signed up, the process is pretty

quick. You fill in some basic information and you test your computer and your internet speed. Because you need a good internet speed to talk to people on live calls, it kind of makes sense. You will then make a short video of yourself teaching something and go through a brief training process. Now, it's very short and concise and does not require any prior experience to start, but since you will be dealing with children, the standards are higher. For example, you obviously need a clean criminal record. Now, I'm going to give

it a 6 out of 10 score, which is much lower than I thought because I actually found out that you do need a degree and a teaching search. Now, you can get this certificate online, but most of us don't want to spend time on stuff like that. We just want something that pays right now. And so then the next job is better for you and that is Bet Stamp.

5. Bet Stamp – Sports Betting Ambassador ($16–$20/hr)

Now here you can realistically make 16 to 20 an hour according to their own website. It's flexible part-time and you work whenever you want. It's all on their

website. I'm not making this stuff up. But what's the job? Okay. Bet Stamp works with sports betting. Basically gambling. And that's where people put up money to bet on horses, sports teams, football games, whatever, and more. Now, Bet Stamp helps people do that, but better. They basically provide education, odds, and different strategies to help people become better at sports betting, you could say. And your job is a sports betting event activations associate. I know that title is so long and confusing. It took me a

while to understand what it even means, but funny enough, it's a really simple job. You help Bet Stamp talk to their customers and make sure everybody's happy. It's like customer success. Now, here's how to land a job, right? Head to their career site and scroll down until you find ambassador. You're going to see hundreds of the exact same job listing, which is a bit confusing, but it's just because they're hiring in different locations cuz you're going to be an ambassador for your local community. So,

I'm just going to click on the first one, scroll down, and click apply for the job. And you're going to have to upload some basic like resume stuff, fill in some basic info. And the key here to get a job is to show interest in sports betting. Now, you don't need to have experience, but they want people with a real interest in sport. And if you're one of the people who hates sports, you might start liking it more when you're getting paid for it. I'll give this, let's say, an 8 out of 10

because it is legit, but it does take real work. It's not some quick like make money online stuff. Go in with the right expectations.

6. Help Scout – Remote Tech Support ($80K+/Year Potential)

The next job pays extremely well. We're talking over 80K per year, and you don't need a degree. Here's how. Help Scout is revolutionizing the support industry and they are combining humans with AI to enhance customer service, but they still need you in the loop. So, here's how to make some money from it. But first, is it legit? Now, Help Scout was founded in

  1. They are a 100% remote company where everybody is working from home and they work from everywhere. Their employees can be found in over 115 cities across the globe. And this is perfect because if you want to land a legit remote job, this is your company. They even say remote first. We've worked remotely from day one, enabling us to hire the best talent that we can find. Now, enough talk. Let me show you the job. They're hiring a tech support specialist. But wait, Lucas, I don't

know tech support. Listen up. It's not hard. You just have to be one step ahead of the person that you're helping. You don't need to be a tech wizard or a computer nerd. just get something like the Google IT support certificate that's going to teach you the basics for free. So, I'll give it a 9 out of 10. This job pays a lot of money, but let's be real, you're going to actually have to do something. No.

7. Swagbucks – Cashback, Surveys & Watching Ads

Next up, one of the biggest websites for making money online, and that is called

Swag Bucks. Wait a second, cuz this is new. Okay, Swag Bucks have paid out over $600 million to people working online. Yes, $600 million. What if you could just have a little slice of that pie? So, here's how it works. Okay, first they have surveys. You know those boring basic surveys. You answer your questions and get paid. I've roasted them enough in this video. They are legit, but you won't get rich by any means. Next, they have a cashback. And if you are into shopping, let's be honest, most of us

spend a little bit too much on shopping, then Swag Bucks will pay you extra cash back when you shop. That could be hundreds of dollars per year for free extra for literally no work. But of course, that assumes that you actually spend some money shopping. Take a look at this. Okay, Swag Box is going to pay you back 10% on all Amazon orders, which is just free waiting for you. A wise man once said, "Free money. Don't ask questions. Just say thank you." But here's the cool part, okay? They now pay

you to watch videos. Wait, sorry. They'll pay me to watch videos. Yes, you can actually make money by watching videos. So, I did some research cuz it sounds completely fake, but here's why. You basically get paid to look at advertisements. So, companies pay for their ads. They want it to be seen and you get some money for staring at ads all day. Now, is it fun looking at ads all day? No. It's horrible. But money is fun. So, it's okay after all. But wait a second. Is it legit? Let's take a look.

So, Swag Box is over 40,000 reviews. The rating is actually four out of five stars, which to me seems 100% legit. You can start this minute, but the pay is obviously I would only use it as a backup option. You know, it's okay, but it's nothing that is revolutionary in any way. So, 6 out of 10 for me.

8. TaskUs – 200+ Real Remote Jobs Worldwide

All right, next up is Task Us. And I know the name suggests it's a shitty survey job, but it's not. Tasks US is a simple remote job that you can do with no experience that pays you every single

month, which is pretty cool. And I know I say that too often, pretty cool, but it's my catchphrase. Pretty cool. Now, before that, anytime somebody tells you that you can make a lot of money online, be very suspicious. So, I looked them up. Okay, Tasks US is based in Texas. They've been around for 17 years, nearly two decades. They have about 50,000 employees working, earning money from home. So, at least they're somewhat established, you could say. Here's how you can join them. Go to their website,

click on careers, and click join us. Wow. Type in remote and search for that. And boom, we found over 200 remote jobs that you can land right now if you apply for them, of course. And the best thing is that unlike LinkedIn and Indeed, all of these jobs are actually real. There's no fake scam remote jobs that only steal your data like on all these big sites nowadays. And they have entry-level jobs. They have jobs in customer support. But there's one downside, okay? You need to apply for your specific

country cuz they only hire in certain countries, even if it's remote. Luckily, the good thing is they actually hire in many different countries. We're talking jobs in the US, South America, Europe, Asia, and more. So, I'll give it an eight out of 10.

9. TeamHealth – Remote Customer Service With Benefits

Next up is Team Health. Now, this is a customer service job that you can do 100% remote, either full-time or part-time. So, you could technically, in theory, earn hundreds of dollars just working in your spare time. It's completely up to you. Here's the job.

You can even choose to work on site if you're one of those crazy people, but we're going to focus on the remote positions because that's what you're here for. You will also receive a $750 bonus right when you start. And here's exactly what you need to start making money with them. You will need a high school diploma. You will need to be good at talking and listening because that's what you do all day. You'll be able to multitask. Can you listen, speak, and type at the same time? You can do that.

And you need to be familiar with computers. just the basics like can you open up a laptop and start it up and log in on the computer. I'm serious. It's that simple. And finally, if you do have some experience in customer service or retail, that is a plus. But it is not necessary to get a job. It's only a plus. So, relax. But you know what's even better? Most of these online jobs don't care about you at all. Like, you have no paid time off, no benefits, no vacation. If you get sick, you are

screwed. And that really sucks. But team health, funny enough, like their name, actually gives you paytime off, paid holidays, health benefits like medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. And you actually work for them and they take care of you, which why can't every company be like this? I don't know. Okay, I know. Great. So, I'll give this a 9 out of 10.

10. BCD Travel – Remote Travel Jobs

And let's move on because now I have a remote job for travel lovers or money lovers. It doesn't really matter. You don't have to be

passionate whatsoever. I'm tired of pretending that, you know, we want to have this job. We want to have this thing. Some of us just want to get a job and work because this remote job pays and it's legit. And that is BCD Travel, which is a travel company. Wow, surprise. But here's what actually matters. Okay, they hire travel agents, work remotely, and they get paid. Sounds too good to be true. I agree. So, I investigated. BCD has over 300,000 followers on LinkedIn, and they've been

around since 2006. They are serious. They are legit. But are they good for you? Well, maybe not because the travel job has some requirements and I'm going to be honest about that. Instead of telling you no experience, easy when it really isn't, like so many people do. So, even if the travel job isn't for you, they have a ton of other remote jobs on their board without fake listings to save you a lot of time. So, just head over there and check it out. It's a pretty good one. I'll give BCD

Jobs an 8 out of 10.

11. ModSquad – Chat Support From Your Bed

All right. Next up, I'm going to show you a remote job that many of you already know, but you probably skip it because you've been fed lies about it, and that is Mod Squad. Now, imagine just rolling out of your bed, opening your laptop, and answering some chats for companies, just making money by typing on your keyboard. Type type type. That sounds too good to be true, but it isn't because Mod Squad has been around for ages, paying thousands of beginners to work from home in

customer service. There's even 10,000 people employed right now. But wait a second, making money by typing sounds amazing. Why isn't everybody working for Mod Squad? What's the catch? Here's the problem, okay? Compared to US salaries, it's not great. We're talking up to 50K per year and as low as 30K. But here's the good thing, okay? They let you actually work from home, schedule your own hours, work as much as you want, even part-time. So, if you want a realistic and legit way to make money

from home without all the BS, yes, it's slow, but it's real, that is the way to go. I'm going to give it an 8 out of 10.

Outro: Start Before It All Gets Saturated

Now, I actually found more legit remote shops that anybody could do. Check out this video before they get saturated. You are still early, but not for long. Choo choo. The trains leaving the platform. So, click right there.
