How to use GEMINI 3.0 to Grow on Instagram (The New Meta✅)
1. Introduction: Gemini 3.0 and the Future of Instagram Content
Gemini 3.0 has dropped and it's genuinely changing Instagram
and the social media content world. It's now easier than ever to grow. I've
been testing it and today I'm going to show you exactly how to use it. Live
breakdowns, real examples, no fluff. [music] Let's go.
2. Using Gemini to Fix Your Hooks
2.1 Uploading Your Reel to Gemini Pro
Okay, so the first thing we're going to do is head over to
Gemini. So, you want to be on Gemini Pro and you can see I've got two reels
right here, okay, from a while ago. Now, the first thing we're going to do is
grab one of our videos,
and I'm going to just drop it into Gemini, and I'm about to
blow your mind. One of the the reasons that most Instagram content fails isn't
because the content is necessarily bad. It's because the first few seconds are
bad. And it's difficult for us to actually sometimes understand why. There's so
much, you know, kind of information out there telling us, you know, use visual
hooks, use negative hooks, but for our specific content, it's difficult for us
to understand why.
And Gemini is literally changing that for us. So, I've put
my video in here and I'm going to get I basically want Gemini to help me
improve the hook on this video. So, I'm going to put this prompt right here,
and I will share everything at the be at the end of the video, and I'll also
share how you can actually prepare your Gemini to understand exactly what you
want before you even post a prompt like this. And I'm just going to paste it so
you can see, analyze the first 0 to 3 seconds of
the rule. Break down exactly why it stops or fails to stop
the scroll. You know, people are scrolling. Boom, boom, [music] boom. It needs
to capture their attention in 1 2 3 seconds. So, I'm going to just put submit.
I'm going to grab the real so you can actually watch the first three seconds. I
don't think he actually ever posted this one. >> And everyone singers and
everyone sing. >> Okay, so those are the first three seconds there. I
don't know what you think. Although this is pretty old this
one. Um, but essentially right here and right now you can
see that it's actually thinking and you can just press that and see what it's
thinking of. But, you know, for us as content creators to get feedback, you
know, often we have to pay a coach, we have to pay someone, we have to ask a
bunch of questions or ask our friends, family when they're not the experts and
they don't really know.
2.2 Gemini’s Hook Analysis and Fix Suggestions
So, you can see Gemini's already responded the analysis. So,
the text fades in the text fades in much too slowly.
By the time the viewer realized the sentences, what if
jealousy was a currency? 2.5 seconds have passed. Okay. In the current
algorithm, you have roughly 0.88 seconds to grab attention. You are using a
clip from The Godfather, The Meeting of the Five Families. The visual carries
heavy semantic baggage. It signals mafia, crime, or business strategy. Your
hook is about jealousy and emotion. Discon disconnects the viewer. Okay? You
know, and you can see here the fix. Rewrite the hook. Visual hook ideas.
or from me simply uploading the video and asking a simple
prompt. I could go back to my editor and make the changes. I could then go or
myself go to the editing software, make the changes all in a matter of minutes.
I've got this feedback for me to improve my content which is going to deliver
better results all using Gemini Pro 3.0 which has changed everything. And this
is just a start. I'm about to show you multiple different ways where we're
going to take this even further.
3. Analyzing Competitor Reels with Gemini
3.1 Downloading and Inputting Competitor Content
Okay, so this is
probably one of the most mindblowing use cases right now.
Okay, so I found this video here that I've that's in my saved from a long time
ago on this account. And you can see here it's 428,000 likes. Okay, now what
I've done is I've downloaded it and you can just use Google, you know, find a
downloader, copy the link, etc. And I've gone into Gemini and I've put the link
here. Now, this is, you know, being able to analyze competitors content is
unreal, okay? Because especially content that's gone
viral and especially if you're kind of new to Instagram or
you're struggling, you know, you're not getting the followers you want because
we want actual information. So, you can see here, analyze this competitor reel
as if you are my content strategist. Tell me what this creator does better than
me, their hook, etc., etc. And you know what? I could actually So, you know
what? I could actually put right here. Yeah. Okay. I was going to put my video
as well and then actually say, you know, this one's
my the 24 secondond one is a viral one, the other one is my
one, but we won't do that today. But you could do something like that as well
because that kind of got me thinking. But this is super important because once
we get this information, you know, we can start to identify real reasons why
things perform well, you know, cuz I think often when a lot of advice on
Instagram growth and stuff is just recreate, you know, someone else's content,
but you know, as a beginner or as someone potentially who
does not have too much experience on Instagram, you know,
you're not actually learning much by doing that. But if we're able to do that
plus start to understand, okay, you know what? When you start to create your
own content or start to make tweaks in your own content, you can remember
things.
3.2 Gemini’s Breakdown: Hooks, Vibes and Retention
So the first thing is what this creator does the vibe check.
Atmosphere beats perfection. They don't use their face. Okay, fine. Audio
dominance. [music] Okay. One of the amazing things of Gemini is that it can
now really digest audio properly, which means that when it's
digesting reals, it's digesting a full package, it's understanding a full
package, audio, visuals, etc., which is super important. Retention engineering,
you know, we're going to discuss that shortly. Hook formula, again, it's
discussing why their hook potentially works. The day you have to bury your
father, that's when it hits you. Okay? So it's it's it's giving us all of this
information and from there I can take certain
aspects and give it to my editor, give it to myself if I'm
creating new content, if I'm coming up with ideas just from a simple prom like
that putting the video I'm get getting a ton of information that's going to
make my life so much easier and allow me to as a creator improve, which is the
number one thing if you want to grow on Instagram because growth doesn't just
fall from the sky.
4. Idea Generation with Gemini
4.1 Feeding Multiple Reels for Inspiration
One of the hardest things about being a content creator on
social media is idea generation. It's hard. But
Gemini can take it to a whole new level. So [music] here I'm
on Gemini and I've added three ress. Okay, these are just random reels kind of,
you know, that we've explored earlier in the video, but we're actually going to
get ideas from these three reels. you'd potentially grab competitor reels like,
you know, you could do five 10 competitor reels that have performed really well
or your own reels that have performed really well. Okay, so I'm going to grab
this right here.
Uh, okay. Here we go. Yeah. So, put a prompt in like this.
So, based on these rules, generate 30 viral content ideas for my niche. So, I'm
just going to make that 10, but you could obviously do however many you want.
split them into training formats, storytelling ideas, relatable ideas, POV
ideas, etc. Again, this depends on your niche, you know, like, you know, if
you're not in the storytelling niche, then you could change that to something,
you know, in terms of the formatting of your style of
content. So, let's just see what happens with that. You
know, this is a game changer. And if you want me to make a video about, you
know, uh, idea generation using AI, you know, more in depth, please let me know
in the comments cuz I do personally think this is a massive topic. And, you
know, if you're able to build a good system for this, you can actually kind of
automate this and not spend too long like, you know, having to figure out
things because trust me, this is going to save you so much time and just make
the whole
process easier. Cuz one of the key things about social media
is consistency. And where does consistency come from? It comes from you know
your ideas ideas into real life. So at the moment it's expanding narrative
framework. So I'm excited to see what it actually comes up with for this. This
one is slightly off topic. So these two are a bit more relatable. So let's
actually see.
4.2 Niche Detection and Viral Idea Output
So based on the analysis of the three uploads, your niche is
dark psych phil philosophical storytelling/cinematic
motivation. So it's giving me like the key characteristics
of my kind of um niche and then it's giving me 10 viral content ideas based on
these. So you can see it's also analyzing kind of the audio deep calm narrative
voiceovers. So category one trending formats the whatif scenario the regret
meter. So what if you could see the weight of the words people left unsaid.
Okay. Wow. So remember this one was about like jealousy. Boom. It's created
something based off of that. So, you know, it
gives me like the actual kind of why it goes viral. It
visualizes an invisible emotional burden. It triggers the fear of regret in the
viewer. The NPC battery life. That sounds interesting. Most people aren't
living. But boom. And then, okay. So, it's giving me in categories. Okay. So,
category one, two. Wow. Yeah. So, you know, from there, I could then create
content, you know, whether it was a carousel or in this case reals, etc. All in
a matter of seconds, I've been able to get all of
this information. You know, if again, it depends on what you
feed it and the prompting, etc. But idea generation again is changed forever
and is changing. And if you want me to make a video about it, let me know.
5. Caption Writing with Gemini
5.1 Why Captions Matter
There are certain things on social media or Instagram that
can feel like a chore, and captions is one of them. But captions are also super
underrated and can directly contribute to growth without question. you know
they can help to increase saves they create shares and they help with SEO okay
which means you
know the algorithm will understand more about your content
and who to show it to so I've put my video right here and this is where Gemini
is literally again changing the game I've put my video here and from this video
I can get a caption so I'm going to grab a prompt right here again this is
always will be [music] at the end so you can see write a high performing
Instagram caption for this video designed to increase growth, make it SEO
optimized for Instagram search, emotional enough to drive saves, etc.,
etc. And I will press submit. You know, captions also give
context. Not everyone reads captions. It's true. But the people that do, they
might be more loyal followers. They might be on the verge of buying something
from your account. So doing captions this way, you know, makes them more
optimized, is going to save you a ton of time, and it's just smart decision-m.
So let's see what's coming up. So currently examining.
5.2 Using Images and Reels for Caption Suggestions
Now, another thing is it's not just reals that kind of
Gemini is really good at working
with. So I'm on this page, which is a kind of random or the
page that I actually got the previous viral reel from, and I'm going to grab
this one. [music] So, let's say you're doing a carousel or a single graphic.
I'm just going to screenshot this, but you'd probably already have it saved.
You would put it into here, and you could literally with the same prompt, just
put it in there. But let's just quickly see what's kind of um it's created.
Okay, so imagine a world. What if we we could see
how jealousy how jealous you really are. Imagine a world
blah blah blah. Boom. And it's it it's given me the full kind of caption. If I
wanted to make it shorter, if I wanted to give it different context, it'd be as
as simple as saying it. It's even given me like a so that I could put the
handle. Interesting.
6. Retention and Drop-Off Analysis for Reels
6.1 Identifying Drop-Off Moments
Okay. So, the next one is fixing your reel or optim
optimizing it to the max. Okay. Now, we've fixed hooks. We've looked at other
things, but one of the most important things is,
okay, someone's passed your hook test. [music] So, you know,
they've passed a 3 seconds, then you have a whole x amount of time. So, for
this particular video, it's another like 57 seconds. But, you know, there could
be a moment in this video where people just suddenly stop watching. Similar to
a YouTube video, similar to anything. I hope it's not that moment now. Um, but
yeah, so, you know, it's a drop off moment. And the longer someone watches the
video, the more the algorithm is going to like the
video and show it to more people. So to, you know, have ress
that perform well, retention, which is what it's called, is super important,
you know, and now with Gemini, this is going to really help us, okay? Because
before we've even posted, as we're editing, as we're analyzing, we can kind of
figure out if there's any parts where there might be a drop off. Or if you
notice that, you know, on Instagram, there's always kind of it tells you when
people are dropping. if it's always at 16 seconds. Okay, around
this time I need to make sure it's impactful. So, let's
jump. Let me put this to the side. Let me grab a prompt. So, what we want to do
is analyze the reel. Okay. So, for this one, I'm going to go slightly
different. So, analyze analyze this reel. You are a senior Instagram strategist
and video editor. Tell me. So, let's actually just do it. Um, okay. So, tell me
the exact second where most viewers would lose interest. What causes the drop
off? Too slow, confusing, unclear, etc. What shots are
visually weak and why? Which text is hard to read? What to
cut, shorten, or speed up? What visuals to add to make it the real clear to add
um how to improve lightning etc. So, you know, you can ask it kind of obviously
if you are doing a storytelling video and your videos are shorter, personal,
brand, whatever, you want to kind of put elements that matter to you. Um, so
let's see.
6.2 Gemini’s Detailed Retention Feedback
Okay, so here's a breakdown of your rule from the
perspective of perspective is super important thing. Obviously, for some of the
prompts in
this video, I've kept them kind of short and simple. And if
you want me to go more into prompting, although in the um description of this
video, I will share some prompting strategies to help improve your prompting.
So the drop off analysis, the exact damn 0 seconds. I [music] mean, not 0
seconds, 6 seconds. That's pretty low. Okay, I really need that, especially on
a video like uh you know, that's 1 minute long. So 6 seconds. I need it to be
>> every choice. >> I need it to be way later than this.
Like if it had said to me, oh it's at 27 seconds, I would
have been like, you know, the video is pretty good. I'm not going to fix it. If
it's at 6 seconds, then that's a concern for me because, you know, that's 6%
retention and I need far higher than that. So, you know, let's have a look. So,
the text says you reach a point where it appears you have 3 seconds to 6
seconds to retain. The video takes 8 seconds to finish the first sentence.
Okay. Wow. It's it's schooling me. This
is an old video as well. super old, but you know, you know,
you know. Okay, so the voice over sounds like it's slowed down to 80%. Wow.
Okay, so you know, the audio kind of being able to digest audio is super
important as well, but you can see, you know, it's giving me tons of stuff. You
know, editing fixes, audio fixes, you know, weak shots, you know, if I was
doing that with AI, I could just quickly grab a new image. so so useful, you
know, for creating content that is, you know, actually
optimized to the max. You know, I'm going to I could go
through all of this. I'm not going to go through it now, but you can see how
much information it's able to, you know, provide you here. There's tied to 25
seconds. So, it's actually suggesting that I, you know, go for a 25 that I can
condense this into a 25second video, which without a question would actually
perform way better, I think. Um, so yeah, let me know what you think about
that. Um, let's move to the next section.
7. Optimizing Bio and Profile with Gemini
7.1 Using Screenshots of Your Profile
You can have reals that
get thousands or millions of views, but if no one's
following you, what's the point? You need to make sure that your bio and your
profile is optimized to the max. Let me show you. So, we're about to jump on
this profile right here. So, you can see bright motivate. Now, we're going to
use Gemini to literally change the game for us. So, I'm going to screenshot a
few things. What you want to do is screenshot your profile. So, probably easier
to actually do this on desktop. And then I want you to actually
screenshot some of the kind of context of your profile. So,
you know, so you can actually see some of the kind of visuals from it. So, I'll
do one more like this. Like that. And then what you want to do is basically I'm
going to give you a prompt right now. Most people at this point, it might be
you would be like, you know, rewrite my bio or rewrite this. No, what I want
you to ask is pretend that Gemini is your target audience. So, in this case,
pretend you are five 25year-old stranger in my niche
visiting this Instagram profile for the first time. And this
will give you a whole different kind of layer of context. In the first 3
seconds, what do you think? Do you trust me? Etc., etc. So, I'm going to press
submit. And this is going to really really help us to see any areas that we
need to improve. Okay? You know, at the end of the day, if I was a business or
trying to make more sales or wanted more followers, obviously I could change
the context of this. Okay? But in this case, you know,
we want followers. We want to understand how people are
interacting or understanding our, you know, profile. So, let's see what Gemini
comes up with.
7.2 Honest Feedback and Bio Rewrite Suggestions
Okay. So, here is the honest, unfiltered feedback you asked
for. What do you think? You run a hustle culture dark psychology theme page.
You create curates motivational clips like movie scenes etc. Do you trust me
50/50? Okay, so let's see why your follower count 50 5K plus and post count 300
plus. Show you are consistent and not a bot. The
visuals are high quality. Why I hesitate? You categorize
yourself as a motivational speaker but there is no face. This is like looks
like a repost theme page feels on I trust you for entertainment but I don't
know if I trust you as an authority figure yeah so this is a massive massive
thing which I often speak to about faceless pages you know not setting enough
authority you know by doing what everyone else does etc you know and then it
gives you more information but from this I can digest and start to take action
you know for
example if I wanted to improve this I could communicate with
Gemini okay how can we actually kind of, you know, figure this out. I want to
remain faceless, but let's take this to the next step. Again, it's giving me
some information for how I could rewrite my bio. You can see here there are
some mistakes. This should be in the name. I wouldn't be promoting YouTube.
Like these two potentially are quite basic. So, there's a lot to do here. And
you can see here from just a simple kind of
that prompt, master your mind, master your reality, turning
darkness into fuel. Suddenly it's a much more um you know unique bio. Obviously
then you could go a bit harder into the bio you know start giving it your own
ideas. But I think just from this it's already giving more substance to the
page that is giving you an opportunity to be unique so people remember you so
they're going to follow you. Meet me at the next section.
8. Building an Audience Avatar with Gemini
8.1 Uploading Grid and Top Posts
This is a quick revamp. Most people don't grow because they
don't
know who they're making content for. And that's why we're
jumping into the audience avatar builder, which is probably one of the most, if
not the most important part of this whole video. Okay, so we're going to build
our audience. Okay, and to do this, we can do this in a few simple kind of
ways. I'm going to use this account again, which is a random account, um, to
build this. So, I'm going to just grab this avatar right here or no, grab this
um prompt. So, you see I'm I'm uploading
screenshots of my Instagram grid and my top three performing
posts based on the visual aesthetic and the captions visible include all of
this stuff. Now, something that's important to remember here is I'm going to do
this off very minimal information. Okay? simply from going here and putting it
here. If I was to upload my best performing reels, if I was to upload more
information and give it even my own understanding of my audience, the results
would be way better. But let's just try this in a
simple way because if you're just struggling to even answer
some of these yourself, then you know there's obviously needs to um you know
you need help. Um, and it's important as well also to just kind of identify
what the AI sees that you might not be able to see. Because you might say, you
know, like if I analyze this page quickly, you know, it's for, I don't know, 25
to 35 year old males it seems, or maybe slightly younger, but you know, around
that age, I would say is the ideal. Um but let's see what it
comes up with because you know this is super important
because then and the next part the follow-up um part of this particular section
is even more important than this audience avatar. This is kind of just a simple
um way that I'm demonstrating this to you but okay so based on the screenshots
of the account which is a mixture of high contrast motivational quotes etc.
Yes. Okay. The aspiring, it's calling me Alex. That's not me. The aspiring
architect. So, 25 to 32 years old. I mean,
um, but yeah, roughly I could tell as well that it would
kind of come up with that. But, you know, you can see the goals, financial
freedom, status and respect, accumulation of wisdom, fears, etc., etc. From
this, I can start to build and like create this profile of this person, you
know. From this, it is giving me buying triggers. So he will buy courses,
ebooks, mentorships, etc., etc. And you can start to build like an actual
business around this person. And then, you know, when you're creating
content, you can double check if it like, you know, for
example, if I create a carousel, I can, you know, literally grab the carousel,
go like this, you know. So, obviously, I wouldn't screenshot it. I would just
put the carousel in and say, "Do you think that this targets Alex?"
And yeah, and then you know, you'll get feedback. So every time you have an
idea or you have a you know, like for example, you want to take something from
a competitor, you can run it through here and see if it's actually a good
idea and a good fit for kind of what you're trying to do. So
let's see. Okay, so it does. In China, wives can no longer claim their
husband's property after divorce. Okay, it validates the fear of being played.
Appeals to wealth protection. Okay, fair enough. So, there you go. That's
simply how to build an audience avatar just based on content just using Gemini.
9. Context Prompting and Long-Term Personalization
9.1 Setting Up a Context Document
The next section is where we're going to take this all to
the next level. Okay, I've saved the best until last and this one brings
everything together. If we're able to incorporate this and
do this, everything else we've done in this video is going to be so so much
better. Now, the first thing we're going to do and essentially this is context
prompting. Okay, so let me grab this prompt and you will see what I mean. So
essentially, we want if we're able to give context, so information to any
prompt that we give to Gemini in the future for anything that we're doing,
especially everything I've shown you, information like who you
are, your niche, your audience, your tone, your style, your
goals, posting frequency, editing style, pain points you have, then it's going
to know so much more about you. And this isn't something that I want you to
like fill out, you know, right now, but it's something that you could put in
your notes, that you could put on a word document and start filling it out by
yourself and then give it to the AI to help you uh kind of develop. Okay, so
this is kind of more of an individual task for yourself. But
something you can do as well is bonus. I'm going to I'm
going to upload a PDF or a document with my last 50 captions, five video
scripts, you know, whatever you can get in there. And then you can start to
basically also get information to fill this out. Okay? So you can use your
current Instagram, your current social media, your current websites, blogs,
anything to help you to fill this out. So the point here is any prompt that you
do is going to perform so much better if you're able to incorporate this. Okay?
9.2 Using Past Content to Train Gemini
And it's that simple. So, if you've liked this video, be
sure to like and subscribe and let me know in the comments so that I can make
more videos like it. Now, the world of AI and social media is coming together
on my channel. This is the future to make our lives easier as content creators
to make more money and to spend less time, you know, consuming. All the
resources and prompts will be available in the description. My name is Alex and
I'm all about growth.
